To make your bakes stand out, The FrostedSwann provide high quality raised embossers. These embossers are perfect for topping your Easter biscuits, or to give a unique design finish to a box of cupcakes. 

All of our embossers are manufactured using food safe acrylic.

The acrylic is clear, so you have visibility of where you are placing the embosser on the fondant.

    • This is a 80mm by 80mm square embosser
    • Product not suitable for dishwashing. It should be hand washed in warm, soapy water
    • All products should be washed prior to use

     

    An example is included here of how to use your embosser, but you may have another method that works best for you: 

     

    Once you have washed your new embosser, you must ensure it is fully dry prior to use. 

     

    1. Sprinkle the surface with a slight dusting of cornflour (or you may prefer to use icing sugar)
    2. Roll out your chosen fondant colour to approximately 1cm thickness. You will need a good level of thickness on the fondant due to the overall depth of the design on the embosser. This will give a 'pop' to the finished look. 
    3. Gently dust the top of the embosser with cornflour and lay on a flat surface with the design side face up.
    4. Cover the design with the rolled out fondant and using a rolling pin, roll over the full design. You want to ensure you roll the fondant enough so that it moves in to the embossed design. 
    5. Try to avoid rolling over the fondant multiple times, as this may not give the best finish. Instead with a good amount of pressure, roll over the full design once. This will give a better outcome. 
    6. Gently lift the embosser away from the fondant and using a soft brush, wipe away any excess cornflour. 
    7. Now you have the design on your fondant, you can use a cookie cutter to finish.
